Noah Falstein is a veteran game designer and producer whose career has helped shape the evolution of the video game industry. Since 1980, he has contributed to some of the medium’s most iconic titles, including Sinistar, Battlehawks 1942, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, and the award-winning Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis. His early roles placed him at the heart of innovation—he was among the first ten employees at Lucasfilm Games (later LucasArts), one of the earliest hires at The 3DO Company, and part of the founding team at DreamWorks Interactive, where he collaborated directly with Steven Spielberg on groundbreaking projects.
From 2013 to 2017, Noah served as Google’s first Chief Game Designer, where he helped launch Fun Propulsion Labs and worked across VR and AR teams to advance Google’s developer ecosystem for interactive entertainment.
Today, as founder of The Inspiracy, Noah focuses on applying game design to health, neuroscience, and education. His consulting work spans startups and global leaders alike, with clients and advisory roles including Akili Interactive (developer of the FDA-cleared game EndeavorRx for ADHD), Healium, TrainPain, Dopavision, Level Ex, AppliedVR, and more. He also collaborates with organizations such as the George Lucas Educational Foundation and XR for Good, reflecting his commitment to games as a force for impact beyond entertainment.
Over four decades, Noah has combined creative vision, technical expertise, and product strategy to push the boundaries of what games can achieve. Whether leading teams at the forefront of storytelling and interactive design, or pioneering the field of “serious games” for health and learning, he continues to inspire new generations of developers to see play not just as entertainment, but as a transformative medium with lasting influence.
