Adrian Whitehead is a certified Executive Coach and CliftonStrengths Coach with nearly 20 years of leadership experience at Google, where he helped build and scale high-performing teams across Asia Pacific, Europe, and the US. His career has been defined by developing talent, leading through change, and creating workplaces where people and performance thrive.
Adrian began his journey in digital advertising with early roles at Tangozebra and DoubleClick before joining Google in 2007. Over the next 17 years, he held leadership positions across London and Sydney, managing creative and technical specialists, leading regional creative strategy, and ultimately serving as Regional Head of Engagement Management for Asia Pacific. In these roles, he partnered with global brands to drive digital transformation while fostering collaboration and innovation inside Google’s fast-paced, multinational organisation.
These experiences shaped Adrian’s belief that the most effective leaders are those who lead with clarity, authenticity, and trust. He saw first-hand the challenges of stepping into leadership roles, navigating complexity, and building influence in dynamic global markets—insights that now form the foundation of his coaching practice.
In 2025, Adrian founded Adrian Whitehead Coaching, where he helps individuals and organisations unlock their potential. His work focuses on three areas: guiding high performers into their first leadership roles with confidence, supporting established leaders in growing their influence and impact, and helping teams understand their strengths to work better together.
